Not Just for Men

Not Just for Men

Bladder cancer is related to smoking, however, who's smoking more in 2006 than two or three decades ago?

Prostate cancer dominates the field, and certainly is common however, if we look at the most common problem that urologists take care, it's urinary tract infections. Guess who has those, women, not men, and generally younger women. Our team, working in female urology, leakage, incontinence, in the older population is the most common cause women are in nursing homes. Stone disease, kidney stone disease, incredibly common across the world, a little more common in men than women, but still very common in women. So we are looked upon as a so called "Cmen's specialty" but it's really not true.
