Getting Pregnant - Annie's Story Transcript

"Getting Pregnant: Annie's Story" Annie: "HI, my name is Annie, I am currently 28 years old and I am trying to get pregnant. Yes, so I definietly have gone to check out a doctor, but the process takes quite some time, so really what the key things was, A) It can take anywhere from a month to a year to get pregnant, and part of that is understanding your own body, your own schedule. If you drink a lot of liquor, smoke cigarettes, those are things that you slowly kind of take back, but once you have an understanding of how your body works, it will get easier. I do have a few friends who have gotten pregnant, they're like, yeah having sex every single day becomes like a job, and you kind of lose the lusty, passionate feeling, but I think it's just one of those things where you have fun, and if it happens it happens, but if not then you know, try again. If I do continue to try, and I find out that I'm not able to have kids, I think that I'd be really, I'd be upset, really sad, but at the same time it's not the end of the world, there are definitely other options. All in all if I could give any advice about getting pregnant, I would say, one, just be conscious of what you are putting in your body, and the effects it has on you. Two is, just really take your time, and not stress out about it, because when it happens it happens, and you know have fun with it"
